Target group
This course is targeting technical personnel who will be involved in design, installation of PROFINET solutions.
Course content
Basic introduction to PROFINET technology/solutions.
The course will cover topics such as:
• PROFIBUS & PROFINET international
• Industrial networks
• Introduction to PROFINET
• Ethernet vs Industrial Ethernet
• Network components
• Network tools
• Communication on TCP/IP suite
• System configuration
• Data exchange (DX) cyclic/acyclic
• Practical exercises
• Testing of PROFINET network
• Diagnostics
Objectives
Upon completion of this course the attendant will have obtained:
• Basic understanding of PROFINET network
• Skills in design & installation of PROFINET network
• Skills in setup/test and diagnostics of PROFINET network
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge regarding automation technology and equipment.
User of Windows based PCs.
Practical information
This 2-day course runs with min. 4 max. 10 participants.
