Target group
The course is targeting technical personnel with responsibility for service and maintenance and small extensions of AVEVA SCADA system based on the Au2mate Automation standard Au2plant
This course can also be used as starter training in connection with AVEVA SCADA projects based on the Au2mate Automation standard Au2plant.
Course content
Hands-on training in the SCADA part of the Au2mate Automation standard Au2plant based on OMI for system platform from AVEVA.
The course will cover topics such as:
• General introduction to the SCADA part of Au2mate Automation standard Au2plant
(contents, structure, versions etc.)
• Introduction to included applications server objects
• Introduction to included OMI & Archestra Graphics
• Setup of menu system
• Setup of alarm system
• Setup of access control
• Setup/configuration of plant items (valve, pump, transmitter etc.)
• Setup/configuration of set point field
• Setup/configuration of start button
• Configuration of small application
• Deploy & test
• Diagnostics & fault finding tools
Objectives
Upon completion of this course the attendant will be able to:
• Do service and find faults on AVEVA SCADA system
based on Au2mate Automation standard Au2plant
• Make minor application extensions regarding control of extra plant items
• Deploy and test minor application extensions
• Configurate access control
Prerequisites
OMI for system platform from AVEVA knowledge/skills equivalent to what you will have obtained by attending AVEVA training courses application server & OMI for system platform.

This 3-day course runs with min. 4 max. 10 participants.
