Target group
The course is targeting technical personnel with responsiblity for:
• Service and maintenance of Siemens control systems based on Arla Foods Automation standard OAS1
• Small extensions of Siemens control system based on Arla Foods Automation standard OAS1
The course can also be used as starter training in connection with Siemens PLC projects based on Arla Foods Automation standard OAS1.

Prerequisites
Programming skills and Siemens TIA/Classic knowledge equivalent to what you will have obtained by attending Siemens basic training course (SIMATIC S7 programming 1).

Course content
Hands-on training in PLC part of the Arla Foods – Automation standard OAS1
Siemens TIA portal
• Introduction to Arla Foods Automation standard OAS1 (contents, data structure and alarm system)
• Introduction to basic PLC blocks (communication, time sync. etc.)
• Introduction to control modules/item handler PLC blocks (valves, motors etc.)
• Setup/programming of valve
• Setup/programming of pump
• Setup/programming of level switch
• Setup/programming of temperature transmitter
• Setup/programming of flow transmitter
• Programming of small application
• Download & test
• Fault finding
Objectives
Upon completion of this course the attendant will be able to:
• Do service and find faults on Siemens control system based on Arla Foods Automation standard OAS1
• Make minor program extensions regarding control of extra plant items
• Download and test minor program extensions

This 3-day course runs with min. 4 max. 10 participants.
