CASE
Arla Food Hobro is one of the largest milk producing dairies in Denmark – therefore it is important for the dairy to ensure an efficient production. A part of the process when producing milk is fat percentage standardisation.
In 2020 Hobro Dairy concluded that their old standardisation equipment was outdated, and it was difficult to get new spare parts. In the search for an efficient solution with a high standardisation accuracy to ensure product quality, they obtained offers from different suppliers and chose Au2mate’s MASStermate standardisation units.
MASStermate standardisation unit is applied for automatic high accuracy standardising of the fat percentage in cream and milk after a milk separator. The standardisation unit is applicable in new as well as in existing installations, for operation as stand-alone unit or integrated in the factory control system.
The project at Hobro Dairy started in the fall 2020, with delivery and installation of three MASStermates, that were tested in the spring of 2021.
“We chose Au2mate as our supplier because they could deliver quality equipment at a fair price”, quote from Carsten Sørensen – production specialist at Hobro Dairy.
